I wanted to go over a few things with you about the end of the year.
1. Our last mailings for the year will go out next Wednesday. That last week of instruction goes through May 29th. Students can get their materials done as soon as they want and then they are done for the year. We will be still collecting school work until the end of the day June 3rd. I will be following up with students that failed classes this year and if needed what mandatory summer school will look like.
2. Collecting school materials. We will be collecting school materials on the following dates and times below. This will also be the time to receive yearbooks if ordered and a free t-shirt from the school. We will be allowing only a certain number of people in the building at a time, and we are asking that no more than a parent and a student enter the building to return things. We are also asking for no socialization at this time to make sure we can get people in and out as quickly as possible and still remain safe. People waiting outside will be asked to use social distancing.
Collection June 2-4 at particular times

Wednesday, June 3
Thursday, June 4
3. As the year wraps up, I want to say "Thank you!" for all you have done. I know this has not been easy and has put a burden on a lot of families. Please know our goal was to get as much education as possible in a unique format. We are still not sure what next year will bring us, but detailed planning and communication will take place. We are still trying to plan and strategize ways for students to have some closure for the end of the year. As schools are still closed through June 30th, this might not happen until the beginning of next year.
Please let me know if you have questions or concerns, and again, thanks for all you do.
